Ally’s puppy classes are the best! Fun exercises that teach new skills, smaller class sizes so you get personal attention and tailored to meet the needs of the specific dogs in the class. Also, boarding at Ally’s house is like leaving your dog with a good friend. You can’t beat her big yard and loving family environment.”

“On our Vet’s recommendation, we enrolled our three-month-old Lab in some puppy classes. After only three sessions, the instructor suggested that we hire an expert instead of the group setting — that expert was Allyson. She took a hopelessly boisterous, slightly crazy “adolescent” and turned her into a calmer version of the puppy. She listens to commands (even though she may not like what she’s hearing), doesn’t drag me along, running at the end of her leash, or greet our friends with leaps to plant kisses on the face. Allyson can be totally tuned into what the dog is about to do, not just reacting to what’s happened – all of this while asking for input from me. She completely has the dog’s attention – and devotion, a perfect combination in the training business.”

I took my puppy Camp Levels 1 Puppy Obedience with Allyson Stoops. I was very pleased. The class is great for learning the basics (plus shake), socializing your puppy, and getting ideas for how to tackle those tricky puppy issues. Allyson is a great trainer and overall a really friendly and welcoming person. She’s very clear when instructing how to teach your puppy the trick. She offers lots of individual attention to each of the puppies and their respective owners when practicing exercises. If you’re having a bit of difficulty she’s very encouraging and suggests different things to try. The puppies seem at ease and it’s never hectic like some puppy classes I’ve taken. I highly recommend Allyson’s class!”

Ally’s Puppy Day School saved our sanity! As first-time puppy owners, we were completely overwhelmed with housetraining, sleeping schedules and basic good behaviors. We didn’t know where to start. Ally was recommended to us by a friend and she honestly changed the course of our life with Grover. She taught Grover so much – from house training to basic commands like “sit” and “touch” and she socialized him by exposing him to the other puppies in his program as well as her own dogs. He learned how to play with dogs of all sizes and ages and he has been a well-behaved (for the most part😊), very social little guy ever since. Ally’s influence on Grover was so positive, we wished we could have signed up over and over again (we did sign up for 2 six-week sessions of the Puppy Day School). We miss her desperately! I can’t recommend Ally highly enough. She is wonderful!”

Much to our chagrin, we were ill equipped to handle a pup full time but, thanks to Ally’s wonderful 3-day-a-week Puppy Day School, we were able to keep our dear Gracie. We’ve all thrived ever since!”

Ally taught my puppy a lot – but she taught me more! Her classes always left us happy, focused, and confident about training our pup with clarity and love. She got us off to the very best start. Highly recommend!”

“Remember your favorite high school teacher, the one whose class you looked forward to, the one you actually learned from? That’s Allyson, except with dogs.”

” You know how sometimes you feel so fortunate that someone so wonderful has come into your life? That is how I feel about YOU. So nice to know Koda is in good hands. I never have to worry.”

I needed help with my puppy and visited several “day care” places. I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t leave my tender, impressionable little guy in a dog mosh pit. Luckily I found Ally. She cares for Rocco like he is her own dog. Sometimes I worry she will not return him to me because she loves him so much, but that never happens. She is always on time and on schedule; and she is very flexible and a great communicator. I give my highest recommendation to Ally Stoops and No Bones About It! ”
