Ally’s puppy classes are the best! Fun exercises that teach new skills, smaller class sizes so you get personal attention and tailored to meet the needs of the specific dogs in the class. Also, boarding at Ally’s house is like leaving your dog with a good friend. You can’t beat her big yard and loving family environment.

On our Vet’s recommendation, we enrolled our three-month-old Lab in the puppy classes. After only three sessions, the instructor suggested that we hire an expert instead of the group setting — that expert was Allyson. She took a hopelessly boisterous, slightly crazy “adolescent” and turned her into a calmer version of the puppy. She listens to commands (even though she may not like what she’s hearing), doesn’t drag me along, running at the end of her leash, or greet our friends with leaps to plant kisses on the face. Allyson can be totally tuned into what the dog is about to do, not just reacting to what’s happened – all of this while asking for input from me. She completely has the dog’s attention – and devotion, a perfect combination in the training business.

I took my puppy Camp Levels 1 Puppy Obedience with Allyson Stoops. I was very pleased. The class is great for learning the basics (plus shake), socializing your puppy, and getting ideas for how to tackle those tricky puppy issues. Allyson is a great trainer and overall a really friendly and welcoming person. She’s very clear when instructing how to teach your puppy the trick. She offers lots of individual attention to each of the puppies and their respective owners when practicing exercises. If you’re having a bit of difficulty she’s very encouraging and suggests different things to try. The puppies seem at ease and it’s never hectic like some puppy classes I’ve taken. I highly recommend Allyson’s class!
